Arizona Sahauros play big against 3 world class teams

The Arizona Sahuaros has recently played 3 friendly games against world class teams from Latin America. If you know a little bit about soccer, you have probably heard these teams names: Cruz Azul (Mexico), Club America (Mexico) and Boca Juniors (Argentina). Cruz Azul recently won the Copa Panamericana 2007. Club America is one of the most popular soccer clubs in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Boca Juniors has won 6 times the toughtest competition in the Americas, the Copa Libertadores. Boca Juniors is considered the world's absolute king of cups. The Arizona Sahuaros had the opportunity to offer its players and fans a world class soccer experience, something never accomplished before in the state of Arizona.

Arizona Sahuaros advance to the 2nd round of the US Open Cup! The Arizona Sahuaros defeated the BYU Cougars 5-1 on Wednesday June 14th to advance to the second round of the 92nd annual Lamar Hunt United States Open Cup. The victory advance the Sahuaros, to a second round match on Wednesday June 28th, to be held at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. The opponent will be the Virginia Beach Mariners who participate in the USL's first division. With the win the Az Sahuaros become the only team from the state of Arizona to advance to the U.S. Open Cup second round.

Arizona Sahuaros Super Shake recipe1 Large banana, peeled and cut 1 inch pieces
2 Kiwi fruit, peeled and quartere
1/2 cup peeled and diced mangoes
1/2 cup peeled and diced papaya
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 TBSP wheatgrass juiced
3 Ice cubes
1 Combine all ingredients in blender and whip until smooth.
